The Report

A detailed report is compiled from our findings drawing upon our experience in domestic environmental issues - and also factors in the homeowner's own preferences, priorities and financial constraints.

The report includes:

Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

This is a government standard document similar to the certificates found on many domestic appliances. The Certificate gives your home a rating from A to G, this rating defines your homes energy efficiency and its environmental impact. An A rating would show high levels of efficiency, meaning lower fuel bills and CO2

emissions, whilst a G rating denotes an inefficient use of energy, which is likely to mean that the carbon footprint of the property is higher as are its energy costs.

Home Assessment Results

This consists of visuals that represent a more detailed assessment of your home, over and above the basic conclusions of the EPC. From the thorough tests conducted during your home energy assessment, this document lets you know at a glance the improvements that you will achieve with your plans, and also what you could ultimately achieve for your home in terms of CO2 emissions, energy use and running costs. For each individual home improvement measure.

Thermal Images*

Where a thermal imaging test has been carried out, the images illustrate hot and cold spots of your home and are an indication of where there may be problematic areas possibly due to a lack of insulation or where heat loss is evident.

Air Permeability Test Result*

The report will detail the overall rate of uncontrolled airflow from your home (in m3/hour/m2), thus demonstrating where you are losing valuable heat which you have paid to produce. The current building regulations set the pass level at a maximum of 10m3 for new build properties. The lower the figure, the more airtight your home.
